Head Track Coach ​
Todd is starting his 21st year of coaching track. He is a 1983 North Farmington graduate. Todd graduated from U of M with a Bachelors Degree and went on to EMU for his teaching certificate. He also earned his Masters Degree in Educational Technology and Media at EMU. Todd is in his 18th year of teaching Social Studies; his 13th year at North. He is also the athletic coordinator & head football coach at North. He is married to Christine, also a North Farmington graduate, and they have three children: son Jack and twin daughters Allison and Sydney.
Chris Gadjev
Throws ​
Chris is in his 6th year coaching shotput and discus at North Farmington. He graduated from Farmington Hills Harrison in 1998 where he was a state qualifier in wrestling and won a state championship in football. Chris graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2008 with his teaching certificate in physical education & health education and is currently pursuing his masters degree in health education through Kaplan University. Since graduating from EMU Chris has taught at Ypsilanti High School, Howell High School and is currently teaching at Three Fires Elementary School in Howell.
Andy Cowell
Distance
Andy is in his 7th year of coaching track. This is his 5th year coaching at North Farmington, where Andy has worked with the distance runners, girls sprinters and hurdlers, boys sprinters and hurdlers, long jump, and high jump. Additionally, Andy spent two years teaching coaching distance runners in North Carolina from 2009-2011. Andy is currently a teacher at Walled Lake Western High School. He atteneded Milford High School where he ran track and cross country. After high school, Andy attended Michigan State University and graduated in the spring of 2007; he began student teaching and coaching at North Farmington the following fall.
Sean Penderel
Pole Vault
Sean is starting his 18th year of coaching the pole vault. Over the years he has coached Farmington Harrison, North Farmington, and adding this year, Farmington High School vaulters. Sean holds a Bachelors in Music Education from Western Michigan, in addition to both a Masters (Wayne State) and a PhD (Illinois) in the same discipline. Currently, he holds a Adjunct Professorship at Wayne State University, where he teaches Integrated Curriculum and Educational Philosophy courses. Sean is a 1995 graduate of Farmington Harrison High School. He is also married and has a young daughter, whom is often seen working out with the pole vaulters (or running around and playing with them!).
Brandon Tindal
Sprints & Relays​
Brandon is a 2010 graduate of North Farmington, where he played football and ran track. He is currently attending South University, enrolled in their Physical Therapy Assistant program and is on track to graduate by September of 2015. Brandon has been coaching football for four years and is starting his 2nd year of coaching track.
Zack Washington
Sprints & Relays
Zack has been a part of the North Farmington Track Program for 5 years coaching sprints and middle distance runners. Zack is a graduate from Jeannette High School in Jeannette, PA. As a multi sport athlete he earned multiple letters in Football, Baseball, and Basketball. Zack attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN on a full football scholarship where he became a 4 year letterman and 3 year starter at running back. At ISU he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Safety Management. He earned his Masters Degree in Public Management at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Zack is married to Kim, an ISU and CMU alumnus. They have two children; Kesia, a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and Zachary, a junior at The University of Findlay in Ohio; both Raider alums.
